Rule of fifths to get healthy and glowing skin

I want to start looking after my skin, but I don’t have any idea where to begin. All my efforts are not successful. So many products on the shelf with no visible outcomes... What is wrong?

We understand why one day we are simply lost here. There is a dizzying number of opinions on everything from how to clean to how to protect your skin from UV rays. As there are so many skincare products on the market today, it can be very grueling trying to figure out which products are truly yours. Healthy skin is not simply a matter of DNA - your daily habits have a big impact
on what you see in the mirror. Caring for your skin is simply personal. Here is what you should keep in mind to cut through the noise.

1. Cleanse your face skin every day!
Face cleansing should be the first step in any skincare routine, as it clears away
impurities and excess oil that can clog pores and dull skin. But be gentle!

2. No matter your skin type, you should be cleansing your face at least twice a day.
Please wash your face both morning and at night as the skin creates sebum and oil
throughout the day. Failing to cleanse your face regularly can lead to various issues
like super oily skin, blemishes, and breakouts.

3. Pick products that are right for your skin.
There are different types of skin cleansers like gel, foam and cream products. Choose one that suits your skin type and condition. Right type of cleanser is very important as they are products that clean the face of sebum, remove excess oil, dirt and other impurities that can clog pores. Proper cleansing of your face prevents breakouts and acne.

4. Makeup remover is not the same as a skin cleanser.
It’s a mistake to leave makeup remover products on the skin. Remember the
micellar water is only used to remove makeup more effectively. This is not an
alternative to skin cleanser or tonic and should NOT be left on the skin. After
rinsing makeup off, come in for a cleanse with your regular skin cleanser.

5. Some cleansers and devices might be too harsh for the skin, which will break down your skin’s protective barrier.
Overwashing your face is a real issue and it can be just as problematic as not washing your face at all. Overwashing can lead to the stripping of the skin barrier, which results in red, itchy, dry, irritated skin.

It is as simple as it is useful!
